Of those who have received offers, 51% feel “very satisfied” with the promised salary, and 11% are “dissatisfied”â€"both figures are slightly different from the previous year’s, when 54% and 8%, respectively, felt similarly. The highest salary bracket in the survey saw a small decrease, as 40% of respondents will receive a starting salary of $125K or more. The previous year, that number was 43%. “The slight dip in starting salary is reflective of subtle changes in MBA job preferences,” Scott Rostan, Training The Street’s founder and CEO, commented in a press release. “Although salaries at Wall Street banks and consulting firms have not changed much, a slightly larger share of graduates are looking to join startups,” Rostan said.
